Black Pearl Oyster Mushrooms
The Black Pearl Oyster mushroom is a hybrid between the Blue Oyster mushroom and the King Oyster mushroom. It inherits the Blue Oyster mushroom's taste and chewy stems whilst also having the dense, meaty and succulent texture of the King Oyster mushroom.
All of our mushrooms are grown on natural, wood-based substrates with no chemicals being used. We harvest our mushrooms at the optimum stage to ensure a long shelf life and the best possible taste.
We aim to have all our fresh mushrooms ready to dispatch whenever there is an order, but because it is a growing fungi sometimes dispatch may take longer. We will get in touch if this is the case.
Wrapped/Sealed Boxes
Our wrapped/sealed fresh mushroom boxes are certified by KLBD as being cultivated and packed in an insect free environment. This process includes rigorous insect checks which means that we are able to guarantee that there will be no insects present in your mushrooms.
If not cooked immediately, remove the wrapping and place the mushrooms in the fridge, following the use by date on the label.
Preparation Instructions
Wash before use. Remove all packaging.
These mushrooms work well in stir-fries, pastas, risottos and salads.
We highly recommend to try sautéing these mushrooms in a pan with some salt and oil to distinguish their true taste.

Keep refrigerated. Check use by date on label.
We recommend consumption as soon as possible for the best taste.

Note: In our free local home delivery zone, we self-fulfil orders with a refrigerated vehicle. Outside of this zone, deliveries will be fulfilled using a third-party courier e.g. Royal Mail, DHL, Evri; this delivery will NOT be temperature controlled. Because of this, we cannot take responsibility of the condition that the mushrooms will arrive in, despite doing our best to package the order. So far, courier-fulfilled deliveries arrived without issues.
